How to check your homework with AI

There's a better use for AI than generating answers: catching your mistakes while they're still cheap to fix. Checking takes two minutes and saves the lost points.

Check My Work mode, step by step

1. Do the assignment yourself first. No shortcuts — this only works if the answers are yours.
2. Open the assistant and switch to "Check My Work" mode. Enter the assignment (paste or photo) and your existing answers in the box provided.
3. Read the verdict per question. Each answer comes back marked correct or incorrect, with an explanation of where the mistake happened — not just what the right answer is.
4. Fix and re-check. Update your answer and ask "is this right now?" in the follow-up chat.

Why checking beats copying

Copying an answer teaches you nothing and falls apart on tests. Checking does three things copying can't:

• It finds your specific error pattern. Sign slips in algebra? Forgetting units in physics? The explanations show the pattern.
• It's honest about uncertainty. A good checker flags low-confidence verdicts instead of confidently mis-marking you.
• It builds the verify reflex. Students who check their work systematically make fewer errors on exams — the habit transfers.

Check everything, not just the hard ones

The easy questions are where careless mistakes hide. Run the whole assignment through in one pass — photo the pages, paste your answers once, review the marks.

Use it for writing too

For essays and short answers, the writing assistant reviews grammar, clarity, and whether you actually answered the prompt — the two most common lost points in written homework.
